Ty Trafle School is seeking compassionate and committed Bank Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join our specialist team, supporting pupils with complex needs in a nurturing, therapeutic environment.
As part of our bank team, you’ll have the freedom to choose shifts that suit your availability while still playing a vital role in helping pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs to thrive. You are welcome to express a preference for the pathway that best aligns with your experience and interests.

Your Role as a Bank Learning Support Assistant
- Support teaching staff with delivering meaningful, engaging learning activities.
- Provide personalised support to pupils with ASD or SEMH needs in small groups or 1:1.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues.
- Assist with daily routines, including personal care where required.
- Promote emotional regulation, independence, and positive behaviour using therapeutic approaches.
- Help maintain a safe, consistent, and inclusive learning environment.

- Experience with ASD, SEMH, or SEN is welcomed but not essential — full training provided.
- Strong communication skills and a calm, supportive approach.
